{"id":5461,"date":"2013-12-31T14:00:47","date_gmt":"2013-12-31T21:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/daveonline.net\/thepolymerarts.com\/blog\/?p=5461"},"modified":"2013-12-30T23:07:14","modified_gmt":"2013-12-31T06:07:14","slug":"a-slightly-different-stone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thepolymerarts.com\/blog\/a-slightly-different-stone\/","title":{"rendered":"A Slightly Different Stone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I think most of us have a repertoire of faux techniques we use regularly but how often do you push that technique, changing up the colors used, the finished texture or even going from solid clay colors to translucents?<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"yui_3_11_0_3_1388213937158_1456\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/edelchen\/\" data-track=\"photoAttributionNameClick\" data-rapid_p=\"3\">Christine Michel<\/a>\u00a0created these gorgeous river rocks using what looks like a standard approach to emulating the water smoothed stones and their variation in color and inclusions.
